Our philosophy? Slow food, slow life.
What we offer is both cultural and gastronomic hands-on cooking experience and Boqueria market tour, which means guests are offered so much more than a typical eating experience. Our mission is to change the view of what tourism represents for Barcelona. Today’s tourist is not a simple consumer, but more an individual person who wants to live an authentic moment in a different culture.
We cook with local products, most of them organic, giving our support to other projects throughout Barcelona, using life-giving sea water in our recipes an old Mediterranean tradition (not directly by the sea, of course, a registered one), promoting health in traditional cooking techniques, recycling waste and ultimately, giving you a delicious insight into the richness of what is on our doorstep.
The message is clear: enjoy the moment, with sustainable consciousness, treat the city lovingly as it fit were your home and discover something about Spanish cooking you may never have known.

ABOUT THELOCATION
We are located at the very heart of Barcelona, next to Plaza Real and Las Ramblas.
If you take a taxi, the best is to tell the taxi driver to leave you in the junction Ramblas with street Ferran. It's not easy to arrive by car to the door place, taxi driver has to make a big round, so it would be quicker and cheaper like this.
If you are coming from Plaça Catalunya, it takes about 10 minutes walking to the Foodiexperience place. Walk down Ramblas Street towards the sea. Stop when you reach a Mc Donald’s and KFC on your left, Ferran street is just there. After 10 meters you'll find our street, it is a Pasaje Madoz on your right, and then you can see Plaza Real.
If you prefer, you can take metro L3 and get off in Liceu. Then follow the same directions.

We loved our evening. The food we prepared was delicious. Our hostess was fun, knowledgable and we learned so much about Catalan food, history and culture. She happily adapted her recipes to accommodate the vegan in our group. I highly recommend this...one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona.

We had an wonderful time with Angel who was extremely friendly and hospitable. Since it was a Friday it was a big group of about 10 people but Angel manages it very well. The venue is lovely and we made Tortilla, Paella and Catalan Cream. She had also given us many lovely recommendations on where to dine in Barcelona. Highly recommended for a unique experience compared to the tourist traps.

Angela was the BEST! She was so warm and welcoming, and made us feel like family. The market tour was very enjoyable, the fresh food and cooking experience was wonderful, and the overall experience was one of our favorites from our whole vacation!!
