Great start to our stay in Rome! On the last leg of our trip, we spent out first day in Rome having lunch in Gemma's magnificent home with a view of the Colosseum. The Chef showed us such gracious hospitality that we could have stayed all afternoon. Each course was more delicious than the other, made with ingredients from her family's farm, including the wine. I highly recommend booking lunch with Gemma the next time you find yourself in Roma!

We had a wonderful time at Gemma's flat. She was a friendly host and a great cook. + Great taste of different foods + Enough even if you are very hungry :) + Very nice flat and location (clean) - Price (it’s not cheap but one can comprehend why) It was our first time giving such an experience a try and we can safely say that it wasn't our last. It’s a combination of tasty food, getting local's information about restaurants, bars and other info. and enjoying a private dining experience. Gemma did all that in a friendly and pleasant way and I can only recommend giving it a try. P.S - coffee machine was broken, she told us were we could grab one… + was not disappointed :)

My husband, a friend and myself had a pleasurable experience in eating a gourmet lunch at Gemma's beautiful home. Gemma is passionate about italian food and provided us with a superb variety of Italian cuisine in four courses. Gemma is a charming host and an expert cook. The lunch commenced with an ice cold prosecco and ended with a cream limoncello made by Gemma. Gemma was a perfect host and created a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful meal which made our visit to Rome perfect.

We dined today with Gemma, and had the most amazing experience! Her home is beautiful, and in the most spectacular location, especially perfect to pair with a visit to the Colosseum. She was welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and an excellent chef...the best meal of our 3 days in Rome! We had both Grandmothers, and our two children with us. The Home Restaurant atmosphere is wonderful for all ages. This experience is definitely a must-do, you will not regret it. Thank you Gemma!
