Typical and successful plate of italian kitchen is pasta, above all home made pasta, in all its several expressions: fettuccine, ravioli, gnocchi, lasagne.
This cooking class is aimed to show and teach the most famous kinds of home made pasta.
The student will prepare on his own every plate and then all together we'll consume our "masterpieces".
Learning, smiling, relaxing, smelling, eating, drinking, sharing knowledges.
Its also possible to customize the lesson basing it on making three kinds of Pizza.
Is possible also planning a classic three course menu with a first course, a main course (meat based or fish based) and a dessert at the same price.
A simple wine will be served during the dinner.
For special wines is possible agree in advance
Menu 1 (Pasta based)
Fettucine paglia e fieno al ragù
(home made fettuccine with spinach and meat tomato sauce)
Ravioli ricotta e spinaci al burro e salvia
(home made ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and spinach and cooked with butter and sage)
Gnocchi di patate al gorgonzola ed anacardi
(home made potato gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese and cashews)

Lasagna bolognese classica
(home made lasagna with meat sauce parmesan and besciamel)
Menu 2 (Filled pasta based)
Ravioli ripieni di salmone e ricotta con sugo cipolla e basilico
(home made ravioli filled with ricotta and smoked salmon in onion and basil tomatob sauce)
Cannelloni ricotta e spinaci gratinati al forno con besciamella
(home made cannelloni ricotta and spinach oven cooked with besciamel)
Agnolotti allo stracotto di manzo
(home made agnolotti with braised beef meat)
Menu 3 (Pizza based)
Focaccia soffice con cipolla e rosmarino
(home made white and soft focaccia with onions and rosemary)
Pizza margherita, pizza con funghi e pizza salsiccia e patate
(home made pizza with tomato and mozzarella, pizza with mushrooms, pizza with potatoes and sausage
Pizzelle napoletane
(home made fried pizza with tomato sauce and parmesan)
Menu 4 (three course menu)
Fettuccine al ragù
(home made meat sauce fettuccine)
Filetto di maiale cotto nel latte ai 4 pepi con funghi
(fillet of pork milk cooked with 4 peppers and mushrooms)
Tiramisu o Millefoglie con crema e frutti di bosco
(tiramisù or puff pastry with custard and wood berries)
My house is very comfortable, modern, welcoming.
You'll stay in a 50 meters unique room where you'll find a kitchen, a living room and a dining room all together.
This place so shaped lets my guest to interact continuosly...
Even my place is very close to Vatican City and Prati quarter, with metro A Cornelia stop at 50 meters.
So it's also very easy to reach.
The quarter is very commercial and full of life, perfect to go shopping or have a coffee before our event :)

The minute we walked in and met Francesca we felt like we had known her for years. She was so welcoming, easy go get to know, witty, and a good teacher as well. Our evening at Francesca's could not have been more delightful. Let me count the ways. 1. That lady can cook. We were kind of overwhelmed by the menu we requested. We all had to make room for dessert, which was well worth the effort. 2, None of us knows much about Italian wine, now we know we like that too. 3. I went to Francesca's place and i had a great time! The food is really traditional and healthy! Francesca is a sommelier so usually she pair the wine to the food.
